TOKKI INSPIRED
TASTE ADVENTURE

Tokki is a modern Korean restaurant located in the heart of Milford, North Shore. Tokki is a direct translation of ‘rabbit’ in Korean and is our iconic rabbit who is the symbolic mascot of our restaurant. Tokki was born to represent our head chef Jason Kim’s spiritual animal, with the main purpose of encouraging customers through a Korean taste palette adventure like no other. Coincidently, Jason was born in the year of 1987 which is the year of the rabbit and ‘Toki’ in Te Reo is a symbol of strength, determination which is a fitting description for his hopping adventure.

Much like the white rabbit in Lewis Caroll’s famous novel ‘Alice in Wonderland’, we want Tokki to be able to invite our beloved customers to follow him down the rabbit hole into Jason’s culinary adventures. Jason’s extensive chef career revolves around working at the most prestigious renowned restaurants in NZ which will guarantee the most delicious adventure in town. Tokki will guide every single customer as a friend through the unknown, where every spectacular dish of Jason’s begins.

Through Tokki, we want to be able to excite, surprise and deliver the finest Korean inspired dishes that we have to offer. With Tokki’s guidance, we have no doubt customers will hurriedly come back for more Tokki inspired adventures.

Our aim is simple, we want people of all ages and cultures to be able to hop on in, so we can take them on a taste palette adventure to somewhere they’ve never been before - much like inside a rabbit hole!
